Your first visit

Where to start if you have never sat in our chairs.

  1. 01

    Step 1: Book your visit

Call or text us, or book online. Tell us what you want, a set or a press, and when you last had one.

  2. 02

    Step 2: What to bring

Bring photos of sets you like and sets you don't, and your own wrap or bonnet if you have one.

    • Photos of sets you like

    • Your wrap or bonnet

    • Anything your scalp reacts to

  3. 03

    Step 3: When you arrive

Come a few minutes early. Tawnya checks you in and takes you to the bowl for your wash.

  4. 04

    Step 4: What to expect

Your stylist looks at your hair, agrees the set or press with you and the price, and starts. Most visits run two to three hours.

At the bowl

Every visit starts with a wash

A set or a press is only as good as the shampoo that comes before it.

We wash and condition every head at the bowl, gently and a section at a time, so your hair is ready for the rollers or the iron. That wash is part of the time on the menu.

At the bowl

  • Shampoo and conditioner at the bowl

  • Detangling a section at a time

  • A scalp massage while you rinse
